What is the Iowa Acceleration Scale?

The Iowa Acceleration Scale (IAS) is a tool used to help guide a team through the process of determining if a student would benefit from whole grade acceleration in grades 1-8. It may not be used with high school students due to credit requirements. Order the IAS.
