Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking

The Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (Torrance) can be administered in grades three through eight for information regarding creativity in a student's eligibility for the Extended Learning Program. Order the Torrance.
Grade three may be administered the Torrance after the Raven's Standard Progressive Matrices (Raven SPM) screening has been given and it has been determined that more information is necessary before a decision is made regarding ELP eligibility. Since the Raven SPM is administered during two different district-specified weeks, the Torrance would be given following those weeks. The Torrance can be administered to an individual student or to a small group of students.
Grades four through six may be administered the Torrance when a student has been recommended for the Extended Learning Program and there is a need for more information regarding the student's creative ability. The Torrance can be administered to an individual student or to a small group of students.
Middle school students can be administered the Torrance during one of two district-specified weeks. Students who have been recommended for the Extended Learning Program are tested in either the first quarter or the third quarter of the school year as determined by the school district. The Torrance can be administered to an individual student or to a small group of students.
