The Woodcock Johnson III (WJ III) can be administered
in grades three through eight for academic achievement information
regarding eligibility for the Extended Learning Program. Order the WJ III. |
Grade three may
be administered the WJ III after the Raven's Standard Progressive Matrices
(Raven SPM) screening has been given and it has been determined that
more information is necessary before a decision is made regarding ELP
eligibility. Since the Raven SPM is administered during two different district-specified
weeks, the WJ III would be given shortly following those weeks. The
majority of the WJ III is administered to a single student, however; the
three fluency subtests may be administered to a small group. |
Grades four through
six may be administered the WJ III when
a student has been recommended for the Extended Learning Program
and there is
a need for more information regarding the student's academic
achievement. The
majority of the WJ III is administered to a single student, however; the
three fluency subtests may be administered to a small group. There is
no district-specified time of year for this to take place. |
Middle school students
will be administered the
WJ III during one of two district-specified
weeks. Students who
have been recommended for the Extended Learning Program are tested
in either the first quarter or the
third quarter of the school year as determined by the school district. The
majority of the WJ III is administered to a single student, however; the
three fluency subtests may be administered to a small group. |
