weak adjectives
Avoid using weak adjectives that are common and boring. Bad and good can be replaced by nefarious and angelic respectively. But I do need to issue a warning before you go running for your thesaurus: don't use fancy words when a good word will suffice. many of my students, upon hearing my plea for stronger adjectives in their work, will force fancy words into their writing that just don't work the way the writer intended. Use caution and develop your vocabulary and you'll progress fine.
